Indian Archtecture 1: The Great Qutub Minar

Here comes the Hero...the Great Qutub Minar!
The Qutub Minar is the world's tallest brick build minaret. The construction of the minar was started by India's first muslim ruler Qutub-Ud-In Aibak in the year of 1193. The minar was completed by Firuz Shah Tughlaq in 1386. Firuz Shah Tughlak took the credit to build the top most storey of the minnar.
The Qutub Minar is one of the best example of Indo-Islamic Architecture.
A must visit place for all...

Sheek Kebab Walla @ Meena Bazaar!


Sheek Kebab...A mixture of and spices thinly wrapped around a skewer and grilled, usually in a tandoor.Sheek Kebab or Sheek Kabab is famous for its taste and aroma. Todays micro oven and modern cooking style is gradually killing this taste from far Afgan. Today only a few traditional sheek kabab wallas (vendors) are vending the royal taste here and there...I found one of them in our very own Meena Bazaar, next to Jama Masjid...
