Sunset @ Badartala, my sweet birth place...

[Click over the photographs to have a larger view]

These are few of the pics I took in last July when I was there in my home town. The sunset over Huglee River is the moment which I always enjoy.... Huglee River or Hooghly River (also known as Bhagirathi-Hooghly River) is the only river providing water to cities like Kolkata. There are so many reasons for liking this river and the piece of land. But I like Huglee as she along with clouds every day pay a colorful homage to The Sun. It is really a lovely moment to standstill and watch.

Badartala is a small area very near to Matiabruz, Kolkata.
[Poor internet connectivity is barring me from regular blogging and forcing me to upload smaller photographs with less density. I am extremely sorry for the both]

Oh wow! That is breathtaking!

I grew up next to mountains. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises are rare as they are blocked by the mountains. But, the mountains do glow purple when the sun is rising behind them, it is also very beautiful.
